  • Build and test phenomenon-based lessons.

  • Learn how to shift your science teaching practices.

Are you eager to learn more about the new Minnesota science standards (Next Generation Science Standards)? Are you looking to build and test phenomenon-based lessons? Are you ready to trailblaze in shifting your science instruction? Join Region 5 science teachers as we explore and build our community of practice to support three-dimensional teaching and learning for K-12 teachers.

About the leader:

Shelly A Muñoz is an award-winning science educator with over 20 years of classroom experience. She is a staff development instructor, science & STEM curriculum developer, and brain research enthusiast. She is a STEM consultant for AVID STEM Connections, NeuroMaker STEM, NASA eClips, and NASA CCRI. She is passionate about supporting science educators and giving them the tools and support they need, in order to inspire our next generation of thinkers.
