Deepen educators' understanding of their own frames of reference and potential bias.

Deepen educators' understanding of the impact of bias on expectations for and relationships with students, families, and communities.

Engage in self reflection, discussion, and tools for change.
Description:
Gain knowledge around being a culturally competent educator while meeting educator licensure requirements. Deepen your understanding of people and culture, engage in deep reflection, and learn hands-on tools for change. This course is approved by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
About the leader:
Rachel Logan and Lisa Worden are education solutions consultants at Sourcewell. Logan facilitates equity support for schools in central Minnesota and is a trained facilitator for the National SEED Project. Worden is also a trained facilitator for the National SEED Project and is a certified trainer for Youth Mental Health First Aid.
