Description:
What makes a school experience excellent? In this speaker series we will excavate the supports needed across the academic continuum that ensure each student gets what they need and is given opportunities to grow. We will hear from educators specializing in both special education as well as gifted and talented programs. Each will unpack how to deliver specialized instruction both within the general classroom and beyond that supports students no matter where they are in their learning journey or how their brains are wired. Every student deserves excellence in their education.
About the leader:
Lisa Worden, an education consultant with Sourcewell, will be joined by an experienced special education instructor to lead this training.
Worden is a former gifted and talented teacher and serves on the Minnesota Educators of the Gifted and Talented board. At Sourcewell, she specializes in social and emotional learning and trauma-informed care.
