The 2022, future Minnesota Math Standards are currently in rulemaking. It is predicted that these standards will be fully implemented in the 2027-28 school year with the first administration of the MCA IV’s in math spring 2028. To prepare for full implementation, districts should engage in an exploration stage during the 2024-25 school year.

About the leader:

Sourcewell education consultant Mike Jordahl will lead this training. Jordahl has been an educator for over 28 years and is starting his 7th year as an educational consultant with Sourcewell. As the Education Solutions math lead, he continues to learn how to implement mathematics standards, using best practices.
