Description:

Language is ever evolving and changing. Sometimes knowing which terms or descriptions to use can be difficult and sometimes we don’t even know we are using outdated or harmful language. This webinar is focused on promoting positive language around topics such as race, gender, and common school-based labels and language.

About the leader:

Rachel Logan, an equity and inclusion consultant with Sourcewell, will lead this training. Logan has been a teacher, coach, trainer, and consultant for over 15 years. Her experience ranges K-12 in rural, suburban, and urban settings including multiple states and countries. Logan has a master's degree in curriculum and instruction and a K-12 literacy license.
