Adult Foster Care Networks

What is the AFC Provider and Community Network?

The network offers collaboration and information sharing for all roles who work with adult foster care, including:

  • Licensed AFC or CRS providers
  • County staff
  • Day services providers
  • Service providers that interact with people with disabilities who live in licensed homes or with the licensed providers
  • Other state and local resources

When are the networks?

We host multiple events each in January, June, and October of 2026. Exact dates for each month will vary by county (see below).

What are the network events like?

Each meeting will have its own agenda. Topics vary, with presenters based on your feedback:

  • Licensing updates
  • Legislative updates
  • Housing Support Contracts
  • Sharing challenges and successes
  • Community health and mental health resources
  • Guardianship
  • Ombudsman

Each network will also have time for exactly that: networking.
