Description:

This event is offered in partnership with the Initiative Foundation.

Launching a capital campaign is a major milestone—and not one to stumble into unprepared. In this three-hour workshop, nonprofit leaders will explore the key ingredients of a successful capital campaign, assess their organization’s readiness and clarify whether now is the right time to pursue one. Together, participants will break down the differences between a capital project and a capital campaign, what makes a strong capital campaign, what funders and donors expect and the internal systems that must be in place before a campaign begins. Participants will walk away with clarity, practical next steps and a grounded understanding of what it takes to move from idea to investment.

You’ll Walk Away With:

  • a campaign readiness snapshot: understand the essential components of capital campaign readiness, including leadership, case for support, fundraising history and donor relationships.
  • project prioritization and feasibility tools: learn how to identify which capital projects are viable, compelling and aligned with donor interest and community need.
  • a practical next-step roadmap: gather concrete recommendations tailored to your organization, whether you’re months away, years away or already halfway there.
