Learning objectives:

  • Awareness of what is available and recommended (material, speakers, resources, etc.) in order to teach the standards

  • Collaborative writing opportunities, thought partner work

  • Leave with unit plans, classroom activities, options for demonstrating learning

Description:

Are you receiving a stipend from your district to write curriculum this summer? Is your content area up for curriculum review? Come and do it with us! All content-area and grade-level educators are welcome to join us for two mornings of curriculum support. Specific attention will be spent on the inclusion of Anishinaabe and Dakota books, leaders, and resources. Join us individually or as a team.

About the leader:

Sourcewell education consultants Emma Needham, Rachel Logan, and Amy Tervola Hultberg will lead this training.

Emma, Rachel, and Amy support educators and leaders seeking resources to learn about Anishinaabe and Dakota people and culture across any content, at any time of year.
