Awards are divided into three categories:

Outstanding Local Government Service Award

Outstanding Local Government Service Award

Recognizes individuals serving in cities, counties, townships, or government associations across Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, Wadena counties, and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

Outstanding Public Safety Service Award

Outstanding Public Safety Service Award

Recognizes individuals in law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other first response roles serving across Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, Wadena counties, and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.

Outstanding Nonprofit Service Award

Outstanding Nonprofit Service Award

Recognizes individuals from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving across Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd, Wadena counties, and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
