  • Learn what you can do to help the situation.

Description:

This training will teach you how to effectively support your emergency responders during an active violence situation while doing your role as a community leader.

This course was designed specifically for Region 5 based on input from our emergency response entities. 

About the leader:

Captain Wayne Freeman will lead this training.

Wayne Freeman has been in law enforcement for 31 years, is a Captain with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, supervises the State Active Shooter Training Program, and is the South Carolina Active Shooter and CCTA Training Coordinator. He has trained more than 200,000 students in active shooter response and is the author of the South Carolina active shooter training manual.
