Description:

This comprehensive training equips educators with the knowledge and skills to integrate AI effectively and responsibly into their professional practice. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of AI, exploring its capabilities, limitations, and ethical considerations, including privacy, bias, and adherence to institutional policies.

Through hands-on activities and practical examples, attendees will learn strategies for creating effective AI prompts, using AI tools for differentiation, and designing AI-integrated solutions to support diverse learners. The training also emphasizes promoting responsible student use of AI, equipping educators with strategies to teach ethical practices, critical thinking, and the proper use of AI in learning contexts.

Participants will leave with sample school and classroom policies, a detailed resource guide, practical examples of AI prompts, and tools for teaching students to use AI responsibly.

About the leader:

STEMbound consultants Evan Handrick and Amy Huebsch will lead this training.
