Description:
Add+Vantage MR (AVMR), Course 1 includes dynamic assessments, organizational, and teaching tools in number words and numerals, structuring numbers, and addition and subtraction strategies. Course 1 is most appropriate for kindergarten through elementary classroom special education teachers, and interventionists who work with children in K-8.
About the leader:
Carrie Rzasa will lead this training.
Rzasa has 16 years of experience as a special education teacher working with students in grades K-5 and 9-12. She used her Math Recovery Specialist training to support students’ math growth both in the resource room and general education classrooms through a mix of pullout and co-teaching services. Carrie has a BS in special education and a M.Ed. in educational therapy. Carrie loves discovering where students need instruction and support to gain the skills necessary to be successful learners.
