Gain practical ideas for grading, assessment, and reporting.
Discuss application on closing a lesson: consolidation, notes, and CYUs (check your understanding).
Learn with Thinking Classroom expert, Jessica Strom.

Description:

This workshop is designed for teachers who are current users of Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics. We will be learning with Jessica Strom on grading, assessment, reporting in the morning. In the afternoon, we will be focusing on closing a lesson through consolidating, notes, and CYUs (check your understanding).

About the leader:

Jessica Strom will lead this training.

Strom has been teaching mathematics in northwest Minnesota for 20 years. She originally stumbled upon the Thinking Classroom in a quest to find ways to get her students to think and become problem solvers. Since her discovery, she has been presenting and sharing the Thinking Classroom with teachers throughout Minnesota. Jessica has served on the MCTM board as Region 7 Director and High School Vice President.
