Cost:

$125 per team from organizations inside the Initiative Foundation and Sourcewell service area. This incluses Benton, Cass, Chisago, Crow Wing, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Pine, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd, Wadena, and Wright counties and the Native nations of the Leech Lake and Mille Lacs Bands of Ojibwe.

$1,000 per team from outside of the service areas.

Learn about the continuous improvement tool - plan, do, check, act.
Learn how to integrate the plan, do, check, act into your improvement project.
Learn from peers - challenges and successes.

Description:

This event is offered in partnership with the Initiative Foundation and the Performance Excellence Network.

This training is an introduction to continuous improvement methods/tools to equip nonprofit and governmental leaders and staff to improve and sustain their organizations’ missions and operations. The training sessions will be highly interactive to leverage peer-to-peer learning and sharing. Each team will select a “capstone” improvement project to work on throughout the course of the program, putting the new information and tools into immediate application.

Sourcewell strives to bring the highest-quality resources, information, and training opportunities to our members. We’re honored to team up with the Initiative Foundation and the Performance Excellence Network to bring this opportunity to our central Minnesota region.

About the leader:

Michael Garner and Brian Lassiter will lead this cohort.

Garner is the president of Momentum and has an extensive experience and passion for continuous improvement tools and a strong skill set for training and facilitation. Lassiter is the president of Performance Excellence Network and has helped organizations of all sizes and in all sectors improve their operations and their performance.
