Description:
The five sessions (three in person and two virtual) will include developing skill in knowing yourself, your teachers, students, and community. Mentoring language and use of nonevaluative high-leverage coaching practices will be collaboratively learned and practiced. Virtual sessions will allow for open discussion and continued support. These trainings align with MDE's MN Induction and Mentoring Framework.
About the leader:
Sourcewell education consultant Julie Benson will lead this training. She has over 30 years of experience in education and is passionate about working with new teachers and coaching teachers.
