Learning objectives:

Understand the principles of storyline-based learning.
Learn how to integrate the three dimensions of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) - disciplinary core ideas, science and engineering practices, and crosscutting concepts - into your teaching.
Explore strategies for nurturing curiosity and fostering critical thinking skills in your students by stepping into their shoes and experiencing the learning process firsthand.

About the leader:

Shelly A Muñoz, is a science educator and STEM advocate, will lead this training. Muñoz has over 25 years of experience in teaching and staff development. Recognized for her innovative approach to hands-on, project based, experiential learning, she is a change maker for progress for students, and empowerment of all students to enter the field of STEM careers.
